Assembled from roll-formed galvanised interlocking slats with extruded aluminium or composite mild steel bottom rail. Every second slat is fitted with an end clip to secure slats laterally and take upwear. Hand chain is lockable (and internally fitted shoot bolt accepts padlock). Operation is by hand chain with single reduction drive. Optional electric operation available.
Applications
Designed to withstand the wear and tear of industrial and busy commercial applications these shutters are sutiable for small to medium sized openings, such as loading dokcs, warehouses, garages, factories, etc.

N.B. Perforated shutters available in 76mm and 100mm slats only

Finishes
Galvanised steel, polyurethane paint or powdercoated in a choice of colours.
Note: Powdercoating is the recommended finish for perforated slats.

Specifications
Slat:
76mm, 100mm or 130mm roll-formed, interlocking galvanised steel.
Bottom Rail:
Extruded aluminium section fitted with optional PVC seal (see diagram) or fabricated from 50mm x 50mm x 6mm mild steel angle securely riveted to bottom slat (PVC weather seal available as extra).
Side Guide (Track):
70mm x 38mm x 3mm mild steel channel with suitable provision for fixing.
Roller Drum:
155mm to 180mm dia. steel tube designed to give minimum deflection over the span, encasing helical coil springs of super grade spring wire, revolving on 30mm steel axle. Tension adjustable by capstan wheel where necessary.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel to suit application.
Locking:
Lockable chain fastener standard. Shootbolt to accept padlock fitted internally.
Operation:
Spring reduction hand chain. Optional electric operation available.
