Features
Curtain and bottom rail extruded from aluminium. The shutter face is flat giving a modern pleasing appearance in harmony with current architectural trends. Slats can be slotted and fitted with clear acrylic panes. Robust bottom rail with optional PVC seal includes various locking devices. Austral-Monsoon exclusive channel guides incorporate PVC buffer to eliminate metal to metal contact and reduce noise. Operation can be by hand chain or electric motor drive.

Ideal for shopping malls and other commercial applications where high quality finish and security are important. Particularly suitable for car parks with its proven reliability in coping with larger volumes of traffic. The 'Panorama' operates smoothly and quietly.
Finish
Aluminium components include mill finish, clear anodised finish as well as a wide range of both anodised and polyurethane colourtreatments. Anodised finishes at present limit slat width to 9000mm. Roller drum and brackets: Prime painted with red zinc chromate.

Specifications
Curtain:
Assembled from 101mm x 1.5mm extruded interlocking aluminium slats. The ends of every second slat shall be fitted with nylon clips to secure the slats laterally and to take up wear.
Slats:
Pierced as required with slots 160mm long x 60mm wide with round corners. The pattern of slotting in the curtain can be arranged as desired, in order to give adequate vision, ventilation, and aesthetic appeal. The slotted slats can be fitted with 1.5mm thick clear acrylic or vermin proof screen.
Side Guide (Track):
Consist of extruded aluminium sections nominally 105mm x 34mm and having "built-in" PVC buffer to eliminate metal to metal contact and to reduct noise.
Bottom Rail:
COnsist of a very robust extruded aluminium section designed to strengthen the lower edge of the aluminium curtain and provide fixing for fitting and overrun stops.
Roller Drum:
Consists of a steel tube, designed to give minimum deflection over the span, encasing helical springs and revolving on a steel axle. A capstan wheel and self-aligning ball bearings shall be incorporated where necessary to allow precise balancing of the shutter and thus ease of operation.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel plate and angle.
Operation:
Chain Electric drive unit operated by either a push button, key, remote control,or other access control systems.
Accessories:
Centre and Corner Mulions, fascias, side panels, hoods, splayed bottom rails, weather strip, windlock clips and guides.
