Austral-Monsoon Economy Rolling Grilles offer both security, high level visibility and ventilation. Comprised of vertical moulded nylon links with 12mm dia. aluminium rods, they are available in a variety of powdercoat or anodised finishes. The fully enclosed extruded aluminium bottom rail can be fitted with lockable shoot bolts or key operated two way lock. Guides are extruded aluminium sections which can be fitted with PVC buffers on request. Fixed or removable corner or centre mullions can be provided for open plan or extra wide openings. Austral-Monsoon Economy Rolling Grilles are an attractive alternative for your security needs and are also quiet and smooth in operation. Operation by hand or electric.

Slat:
Assembled from nylon moulded vertical links and horizontal aluminium tubes running full width of the grille secured with rivets.
Side Guide (Track):
Extruded aluminium section with optional built-in PVC buffer (see diagrams) bellmouthed at the top to allow easy entry of the curtain.
Bottom Rail:
Fully enclosed 67mm x 47mm extruded aluminium section fitted with rear coverplate.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel.
Roller Drum:
177mm dia. steel tube, encasing helical coil spring of super grade spring wire, revolving on nylon bearings.
Operation:
Hand operation, optical electric motor drive with push button control available.
Accessories:
Centre mullions, corner mullins, fascias etc are available.
Locking:
Internal or external key-operated two way two point locking at waist height or on bottom rail, or both for extra security. Shoot bolts to accept padlock.
