Features
Assembled from lightweight roll formed interlocking slats with extruded aluminium bottom rail. Every second slat is fitted with nylon end clips at each end to secure slats laterally and take up wear. Slats run in exclusive Austral-Monsoon extruded guides which incorporate PVG buffer to eliminate metal to metal contact and reduce noise, bottom rail can be fitted with a PVC seal as an optional extra.Shootbolts to accept padlocks are fitted as standard equipment. Two way, two point key operated locking available fitted to bottom rail or at waist height. Chain lock is standard. Operation by chain or electric.
Applications
Suitable for fixing between or behind reveals, these shutters are used extensively for counters, bars, shopfronts and smaller service hatches and openings.
Finish
Available in mill finish, clear or coloured anodise or polyurethane paint to match any colour. Powder coating available in a choice of colours.

Slat:
76mm x 0.9mm roll formed aluminium.
Side Guide (Track):
Exclusive Austral-Monsoon extruded aluminium section with built in PVC buffer (see diagram).
Bottom Rail:
84mm extruded aluminium inverted T section with PVC seal/buffer incorporated as an optional extra.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel plate to suit application.
Roller Drum:
155mm dia steel tube encasing helical coil spring of super grade spring wire revolving on a 30mm axle.
Operation:
Hand chain operation or manual lift as applicable.
Locking:
Shoot bolts internally or externally, to accept padlock. Optional two way, two point key operated lock mounted to bottom rail or at waist height, or chain lock.
Mullions:
Provided shutters are not subject to wind loadings, wide openings can include removable centre or coner mullions allowing two or more shutters to be used.
