Assembled from heavy duty, computer designed, galvanised steel interlocking slats with end clips fitted to every second slat and a fabricated bottom rail. Standard side guides are 100mm deep and windlock guides are available. Fitted with electric motor and gearbox unit with hand chain operation for emergency use. Optional solenoid operated brakes are fitted.

Specifications
Slat:
76mm, 100mm or 135mm roll-formed, interlocking galvanised steel. Refer to windlocking chart for selection.
Bottom Rail:
Fabricated from one or two sections of 50mm x 50mm x 6mm steel angle securely riveted to bottom slat, or 75mm x 75mm x8mm steel angle, welded to a 75mm x 50mm RHS stiffener and securely riveted to the bottom slat. (See diagrams)
Side Guide (Track):
Accurately formed steel sections with provision for suitable fixings. Refer to diagrams.
Roller Drum:
165mm dia. to 300mm dia. steel tube designed to give minimum deflection over the span, encasing helical coil springs of super grade spring wire, and revolving on a 40-90mm dia. axle fitted with self-aligning roller bearings. Selection of tube and axle determinted by size of opening. Tension adjustable by capstan wheel where necessary.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel plate to suit application.
Operation:
Electric motor driving through a reduction gearbox which incorporates an emergency hand chain operation. The gearbox is fitted with micro-switch trip cams to stop motion in open and closed positions of the shutter. Push button controls include reversing contactor and thermal overload cutout.
