Features

  1. Curtain - Constructed using 50 x 0.4 mm or 50 x 0.6 mm interlocking slats, in galvanised steel, roll formed in house at Ansa Doors. Slat thickness is dependent on the opening width, and the security requirements of your project. The slats are retained in position using nylon end clips, fitted to every second slat, and a GUARDIAN locking lug, fitted to alternate slats to secure the curtain into the side guides. For further information, refer to the technical information detail below.
  2. Bottom Rail - Rigid extruded aluminium section. A bottom seal can be provided as an optional extra. For further information, refer to the technical information detail below.
  3. Side Guides (Track) - Side Guides are fabricated from galvanised steel "Lock-in Guide Section". This is fabricated in-house at Ansa Doors and completed with splayed tops. The side guides size is 80 x 43 x 3.0mm. Where required or specified, the side guides are bolted to fixing angles or posts of size and thickness to suit the shutter and application. For further information refer to the technical information detail below.
  4. Roller Drum - Fabricated from mild steel or galvanised tube with the outside diameter and thickness appropriate to the size and application of the steel roller shutter.
  5. Bracket Plates - Fabricated from 3 mm galvanised steel, in sizes to suit the height of the opening and engineered tube size.
  6. Operation - Generally hand operated. However, appropriate tube motors can be fitted. Tube motors are 240 volts, and can be activated through a variety of control devices to suit application or your preference. Tube motors require single phase, 10 amp, 3 pin plug socket within one metre of each door opening.
